Marian is an Integrative Nutrition Health Coach, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Parenting Educator who teaches people that they have the power to live happy and healthy lives.

As a Flagler College graduate, she worked with children struggling with learning disabilities.  This was her first experience with understanding the importance of food and its effects on behavior, mood, and ability to focus.  These are areas that vastly improved when nutritional habits were changed.  This began her love affair with natural health and wellness.

As a mother of two, she found that, most often, proper food was the major key to keeping her family well physically and emotionally.  “ What I learned so many years ago, and know today to be true, is that our body knows what to do with real food. Fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains are what fuel our bodies with energy they need to last and last!”

Continuing to evolve her understanding of the health of adults and children, she has worked in the areas of chiropractic care, enzyme therapy, and as a nutritional and behavioral parenting educator.  She is also a member of the American Association of Drugless Practitioners.

Another key piece in Marian’s approach is the concept of bio-individuality. Each person has her or his own food and lifestyle needs. So, when the experts say, “dairy is good for you” or “fat is unhealthy,” it doesn’t apply to everyone. One person’s food is another person’s poison, and that’s why fad diets tend to fail in the long run. She uses a personalized, holistic approach that is based on the clients’ needs and what they are ready to do for themselves.

Getting well and staying well with food is a way of life. We can begin to make better choices and it’s not easy at first, but food can be fun! And the changes can be made without diet and deprivation.  The main ingredient is willingness.
